JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution is not entirely an original movie. Instead, the newest film from the JuJutsu Kaisen action franchise serves as a collection of the series' second installment combined with the first two episodes of its next season, which launches the Culling Games storyline from the manga series. This establishes Execution, which recently received a fresh preview, the quickest way to see the start of the forthcoming season ahead of its January 2026 premiere. The feature launches in Japanese theaters on November 7, and in North America on Dec. 5.

Audiences were aware of the problems with the production, which made them appreciate what they viewed even more. People eagerly awaited to see if the disc version, launched in mid-March, would feature extra content to the sequence or to see if it was polished at all, and were elated to see just that, alongside tone adjustments, smoother movement, and revised visual style.
