Netflix Casts Ideal Performer for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Third Season
The Secret Organization is geared up to exert significant influence in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, although the real showdown won’t unfold until the third season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has just been cast.
The platform declared Tuesday that the talented performer has joined the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Bentham. This character possesses the power to morph into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their dominant hand. The actor, who is non-binary and goes by they/them, will portray a interpretation of that character reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, as opposed to as a drag queen, in the real-life adaptation, unlike the original manga and cartoon version.
This performer will work alongside several other recently announced actors who will portray the organization to the screen, including chief Sir Crocodile, brought to life by the seasoned performer, an emerging star as Miss Goldenweek, and an accomplished actor, who also joins the lineup as the ruler of the desert kingdom.
Even though the role is a key figure of Baroque Works, the individual will be introduced in One Piece the third season. Given season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden segment, this represents a notable change in the placement of the character’s debut, one that could signal further changes to the plot development.
Their mix of excellent comedic sense and emotional depth makes them a standout choice for the character. Along with their current animated role in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and several accolades for creating and performing in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, showcasing the range they’ll add to one of One Piece’s widely praised roles.
Netflix's live-action One Piece show is due to premiere for its next installment on March 10th, 2026.
